Here’s the thing I love most about traveling solo:
After nearly four weeks in Tanzania, today is the first day I’m not within earshot of a familiar, friendly face.
—not gonna lie, the separation anxiety is real. And that says a lot—
Though that’s only half the truth:
A massive thank you to the dude who waited with me forever and helped navigate the chaos of peak-hour Dar to get me safely into my Uber.
All I can say is: THANK YOU
Thank you for the great company, the conversations, the inspiration.
For making me feel so at home, so far away from home.
For making me laugh to tears.
For the new friendships and the future adventures still to come.
For the many core memories, jam-packed into such a small stretch of time.
And thank you, Tanzania.
You’ve been magic
even more than the last time.
